About this listen

Haley Cass can write a love story!
Can't wait to read more by this author.
Lori Prince did another fantastic job with the narration.

To fall in love with this book. Oh boy has it taken hold in my head, I keep listening to it on repeat. Sexy, sassy, heartwarming and hilarious. I have read/listened to a few wlw but none of them have resonated so deeply as this one.
This is my first time hearing Lori Prince’s narration and she does not disappoint, she brings each character wonderfully to life even the arsehat ex husband.
I’m now off to listen to Those Who Wait...because I can’t!

repressed feelings are very annoying, fear of rejection and humiliation, been there, but from outside you just scream "tell her" .my first Haley Cass book and its superb, romance of friendship and a man to hate, plus a sensual performance by Lori Prince makes you feel the frustration.

I’m enjoying these modern stories, where coming out is no big deal. It is so refreshing.
This one is the classic will they won’t they, and it all is so realistic and beautifully told.
Not a fan of the narrator, but I think each person will have a different preference on that.
I loved it, and will be reading/listening more from this author.

I quite enjoyed the story but sadly I think I would have enjoyed it more if I’d read it instead of listened. Sorry but I’m not a fan of Lori Prince’s narration and I don’t know why.

I have read a fair few WLW books over the years and have begun my journey back into audiobooks. This narrator’s voice takes a bit of warming up to but is super emotive and reads the story well. The story itself is brilliant. Slow burn filled with a beautiful and funny moments. Really enjoyed it and will be checking out the other stuff by this author for sure.
