Summary

Motherhood hasn't come at all easy for Molly Anderson. But she's finally enjoying life as mother to five-year-old Ella and as arts reporter for the small but respectable Ridgedale Reader. That is until a body is found in the woods adjacent to Ridgedale University's ivy-covered campus, a discovery that threatens to unearth secrets long buried by the town's most powerful residents....

Twists and turns fab

Well written and really brilliant. Loved it. Truly engaging. Well read too apart from baby's voices.

Not for me

I never really connected with the main character. The voices really were not believable.
I fell asleep every time I started to listen, so have not finished it, moved on …..

Somewhat Disappointing!!!

Would you try another book written by Kimberly McCreight or narrated by Laurence Bouvard?

Not necessarily.I first listened to Reconstructing Amelia by this author which I thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately this book did not live up to my expectations. Told through the perspective of different characters it became confusing and the storyline jumped around a lot. It wasn't obvious from the narration which character was telling the story.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I think the storyline would be easier to follow in the written form. Perhaps using more than one narrator would have helped to "sign post" the different characters more. This book is classed as a psychological thriller but the plot overall was weak. The storyline although contemporary did not hold my attention enough & I found I wasn't anticipating the ending as in the case with other books of this genre.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Laurence Bouvard?

Not sure.

Do you think Where They Found Her needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No this storyline did not lend itself to a follow up.
