I really enjoy this series. However, the choice of narrator spoilt the listening. Ron was from Ireland but this narrator had him with a London accent! Also other characters had stupid voices which was annoying. I know she is narrating other books in the series so I hope she improves!

Narrator spoilt the listening!

I love the Cliffehaven books so far. Peggy is such a caring character. Definitely better than her sister Doris

I'm working my way .through the series a bit higgilty piggilty as I started mid way to.the end with.good old fashioned books, then started audible and you notice the different narrators and how they.portray characters like Cordelia, Ron and Jim. some good, some not so.

This is another great book in tbe Cliffhaven series. Unfortunately in my opinion the new narrator let's the series down. The characters voices are so different.

great book

I love these stories, they weave together so cleverly. My only niggle was the narrator, she played the characters very differenty, all the women had odd, very dumb voices and Jim went from being Irish to being an intimidating Cockney, the narrating voice however, was good. Looking foreard to the next in the series and the narrator is back to an original.

So much coming together, gave me goosebumps

I enjoyed what I heard but it ended at a poor point needs the rest of the story
Feel cheated

Rubbish ending

Great sequel to a series, although it was a disappointment to find that a change of narrator happened. As good as she was, her voice did match with the characters I had come to know and identify through the other narrators various voices for each character. It took me longer to process the characters. Such a shame not to be consistent with the voices of each character.

Lovely story

I think it should be obligatory for new narrators to listen to a couple of books in the series before they narrate. Jim, a cheeky Irish man became a cockney , even though you could hear the writing had an Irish lilt. Every characters voice had changed and Rosie sounded like a dumb blonde , when she was far from that. This series is brilliant. I’m so invested in the storyline. Poor narration ruins things especially when the reader is a few books in.

We have a new voice and it has thrown me right out. Ron now has a head cold, Jim who is supposed to be Irish goes from Home Counties to cockney and Rosie sounds like a prossy. Ruined this book for me. Please be consistent

Please don’t change the reader .
