I enjoyed listening to this book. I have not read or listened to anything by this author before but I would definitely pick up another book. I always enjoy a good second chance romance. I liked Madelyn and Lucas together. I felt they were well rounded characters. I enjoyed listening to the narrator too. I would listen to another book she reads. I would recommend this book in any format to anyone who enjoys a good romance read.

I love Second Chance romances, happily ever afters, and friends to lovers. This book had it all. I enjoyed the way the story was written and the narration. Glad that they noticed what mattered most to them. Sometimes you had to lose everything to find out that you always had everything when all the glory faded. This is a must read.

I loved this book, C.A Harms created a wonderful story and characters as well. Her writing style is natural and she draws you in from the start. The story and characters develops nicely and is fast paced, so much so I did not put the book down until the end. I loved both leads, Madelyn and Lucas, also loved the support they got from their families. It was good to see and a nice tough. I highly recommend this book, thank you C.A Harms for a great read. I am looking forward to reading more of your work.

Sarah Puckett delivers another wonderful performance!! She performs all the different voices, switches characters effortlessly and helps bring them to life right off of the pages. She is a natural talent and her story telling is amazing. Thank you for another great listen!!

Lucas and Madelyn were best friends as children but during high school Lucas’s popularity and success on the football field has left Maddie on the outside looking in. When he received scholarship to college she had to find out through her mother and was left with a broken heart.

Four years later Lucas is back in town after his dreams of playing professional football are destroyed due to a career ending injury. He starts to see Maddie as a woman rather than a friend, but she is no longer the same woman who was willing to accept whatever scrap of attention that Lucas would give her. Will he be able to convince her that she is all he needs or will their different dreams for their futures drive them apart once again?

Maddie and everyone else in their lives thought that she and Luke belonged together and although it took him a little longer to realize it once he did, he was all in. The narrator did a great job at articulating all the characters as well as the accents and made you feel like you were part of the story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Whisper Forever is a feel good story, Madeleine has had a crush on Lucas Rivers since childhood. Lucas likes the awkward blonde with the pigtails but thinks of her as one of the guys. So as time goes by Maddie becomes disillusioned when she see Lucas the star football player with other girls.
That was then this is 4yrs later and Lucas has a permanent injury. Tables are turned and Lucas has to work to win back the girl.
Snippet from Lucas:”last night Madeleines resistance had slipped a little and it gave me hope. I wanted more than anything to be apart of her life again, whether it be a big part or small, I’d take what I could get. I wasn’t the type of guy who sat around waiting for things to come to me, I went after them and this time I was going big.”
Lucas did go big, and his time, patience pays off, with a love so deep he says he can’t breathe from the immensity of it.

I LOVED this book! The childhood crush that turns into love is always a great story to listen to, but these two are the best. Watching the love grow between them as well as seeing some of the regret that Lucas has from his high school years was breathtaking. A love to pure between these two that they will definitely be able to overcome anything in the future. The narration in this book was perfect!
