Kim Crosley is a rent boy with too much curiosity. He wants to know who owns the Chrysler touring car stopping at his street corner every night. Hitching a ride and sneaking into the gent's house seems the best way to find out...but he gets caught. Kit Laurence is an ex-soccer champ, a near-recluse since a sports injury ended his career. Discovering a young man going through his belongings brings an intriguing disruption to both his evening and his life, as well as a relationship he isn't certain he wants. This story is full of twists and turns, with a cast of eclectic characters. The writer has worked hard to let us into a complex world. The narrator is relatable, taking us on a journey that is both exciting and heart breaking.

The audio performer does a fantastic job of reading the story, using different voices and accents to bring the characters' personalities to life. The narration is very high-quality: well-paced and edited to high standard. I felt as though the narrator was sitting in front of me, telling the story.
