A good overview...

...that divides WWII up into different topics and events and gives a brief summary. It's not possible to cover even a fraction of the war in 85 minutes, but this title is an excellent starting point for anyone who wants to learn more.

potted history in an easy to swallow format

Great concentrated history in a well read format, easy to understand without all the overly complex political machinations, should be taught in schools today to serve as a reminder of what happened.

WWII in global context.

"World War Two: History in an Hour" is a good summary of WWII that skilfully puts the conflict into global context.
