About this listen
Lord Yamada is called away - one last time - from his newly restored estates in Kamakura to help Prince Kanemore ensure that Princess Teiko's son, Takahito, inherits the Chrysanthemum Throne. His closest friend Kenji is now Abbot at the nearby Buddhist temple Lord Yamada has build and dedicated. He and Kenji set out on the road to Kyoto at the behest of Prince Kanamore, on what will prove to be his most intellectually challenging, but no less dangerous adventure yet.
