Clever soft humour
There is nothing about this book that I didn’t like. It was warm, funny, relatable. I didn’t want it to end. The characters became my friends during to the expertly written narrative. Loved it.

Banterous love
The way the two main characters and their relationship gently unfolded over days of walking together was a joy.
Up there with One Day for a love story, but this time with a happy ending!

Classic David Nicholls
I have never met a David Nicholls book that I didn’t like. Still has the beautiful nostalgia of One Day or Sweet Sorrow but is filled with a warmth and maturity that is so easy to buy into and enjoy. Just fabulous
