Interesting. thought food

I found the book with good timing and it was recommended in a goals and vision masterclass book. Having been inspired by T Harv Eker's book I took a new job 6 weeks ago and doubled my income, only to find myself now working over 50 hour weeks, 6 days a week and wondering why I left my last job for minimum wage where I was really happy and fulfilled. After finishing the book I am going for interviews this week for my old job but with a few more tweaks that are contained in this book relating to lifestyle. This book addresses that kind of dilemma as well as some theory in minimalism, looking at what is truly valuable to you in many areas if your life, and helps you to figure out how much certain pursuits, jobs and people etc actually 'cost.' The speaker I found very sweet, easy to listen to, a little monotone at times but generally great. Each section is structured nicely. There is nothing really to find fault with, other than one small mention which said how self storage business is helping people to have an excess. I personally have only a motorbike and no home, I live in hotels and am considering a tent for warmer months, so self storage will mean that I can regularly rotate my clothes and store my expensive camera and seasonal clothes that I don't want to keep on me and wont be used until the season. It's actually quite a brilliant concept for people with no home to leave their things for short term.

Difficult to comprehend - Chapters not titled.

This book is very detailed, at somepoint you measure energy consumption. The audio is not beginner friendly, I would recommend a physical book because the chapters are not titled so you don't even know what the narrator is talking about in each chapter.

That makes it a hard read to finish, the narrator doesn't even introduce the chapters. It's giving cognitive load over useful information. The narrator is not energized either. They could have hired someone else to narrate. maybe the physical copy gives a great experience, I'm not convinced that I need to buy it atm.

otherwise, they tried. Maybe I'm not the target market. 🥴

Not what I expected

I had expected a budgeting kind of book, this is so much more than that. It challenges you to really explore your relationship with money and transform the way you live your life as a result. Fantastic.

As good as people say, though not very concise

Great perspective on "wealth" being everything in your life, not just money - changed the way I perceive money and altered the vision of my life I'm aiming for

Good Stuff

Didn't follow all the steps but greatly shifted the way I think about my money and my life force... enjoyed the consideration of socially responsible investing towards the end!

Very boring

A very boring and dull book, they seem to talk about the most random topics for 2 hours in a chapter, when the point could have been made in one sentence! I know all books do this, but this really takes the cake, this is just completely ridiculous. I normally love listening to finance books as I’m going to sleep as they’re interesting enough but also not overly stimulating so my mind can relax when I’m going to sleep, but with this book even as I’m falling asleep I’m wondering what the heck I’m listening to, it’s literally complete waffle and I find myself skipping chapters hoping that something new would be said, but always to no avail.
