About this listen

Book 4 in the Zombie Road saga.

The world is recovering from a near extinction level event. Fortified enclaves and barricaded towns have managed to survive the long winter. Spring brings new hope and new beginnings. One boy, thrust too quickly into manhood, is learning to find his way in the new wastelands. With hopped up machines and purpose built muscle cars to run the roads, a new breed of pony express rider is born.

Yet another amazing zombie road read

Another brilliant listen! Carries on well from the last three with a big focus on Jessie and his travels, although all the other great characters from books 1 2 and 3 are in it too. Straight onto book 5 now and hope there will be more after that!

This whole series is worth a listen.
I loved every book so far, and hope more will be coming.
One of the better zombie series out there. Top stuff.

Backward and Forward

Why are the good guys, apparently highly trained and clever always messing up? Too many knock backs!

Burning a house full of cats

Loved the first three books this one was looking to be another great one then it got to the bit were Jessie goes into a house for some poptarts and finds a group of main coon cats

Which he decides to find some food in the house for to feed them he then gets attacked by one of them when he tries to stroke it and is then attacked by all of them he along with his dog kill a bunch of them while escaping the house which is kinda fair enough it's kill or be killed at that point and the cats are very likely feral or at least hate everything human shaped because of the zombies but when he and the dog get out of the house and there's two cats out there with them (the rest have stayed in the house)

one of which is on a shed roof hissing at them and the other is injured and limping back to the house instead of just leaving the place and the cats alone and continuing on with his journey he then shoots the cat or the shed roof, let's the dog kill the one limping back to the house, then fires a bunch of bullets into the house, closes the back door, blocks up the cat flap, splashes the house with petrol and sets fire to the place or at least that's what I guess happened as I skipped forward two minutes when it got to the splashing the house with petrol bit it didn't take a genius to figure out Jessie's next action I did consider stopping listening entirely but I paid money for this. Rant over
