    Getting dressed for a day at the parks doesn’t have to be a chore. In fact, there are five tried and true outfit styles that can cover just about any Disney Parks occasion.

    Tried and True Outfits to Enjoy Your Time in the Parks with No Fuss

    We’ve analyzed the styles and trends of Disney Parks visitors over the years and compiled this list of the five classic outfits ideal for any park day. Wondering what to pack or wear to Walt Disney World? You can’t go wrong with any of these.

    Top Five Outfits You’ll See at Walt Disney World Parks

    1. T-Shirt and Shorts, variation Tank Top and Bicycle Shorts

    This is the classic look for what to wear inside a Disney Park, and for good reason. A comfy t-shirt or tank top paired with casual shorts (loose fitting or bicycle shorts) will keep you comfy and ready to go no matter how long you plan to stay at the park.

    2. Collared Shirt (Button-Up Shirt/Golf Shirt) and Cargo Shorts


    In the heat of the summer or on any very warm day at Walt Disney World, this variation on the classic original look is a good pick. Substitute the cotton t-shirt with a lightweight button-up shirt or collared golf shirt, for a more breathable and loose-fitting option. Paired with cargo shorts, this is a very stylish and practical option offering lots of extra pockets (which are always welcome on a Disney vacation).

    3. Layered Look: Zip-up Hoodie with T-Shirt and Jeans

    If you’re traveling to Walt Disney World in the winter or early spring, the layered outfit is a very good choice. Whether it’s cool mornings or cold evenings that you may encounter, layering your Disney Parks outfit is a great idea. With a jacket, hoodie or zip-up hoodie over a t-shirt up top, and jeans, casual pants or leggings on the bottom, you’ll be good to go for your entire Disney Parks day.

    4. T-Shirt/Tank Top and Leggings/Yoga Pants


    A very popular look for the parks, leggings paired with a t-shirt or tank top is something you’re likely to see on a large number of park visitors any Walt Disney World vacation. This classic combination offers both style and comfort, making it a great choice for all-day park hopping.

    5. Dresses


    On warmer days, dresses of all kinds make for a popular and comfortable theme park outfit. When it’s hot out, a loose-fitting dress allows air to circulate, giving the breezy breathability that offers added comfort in the heat.

    Let’s Not Forget Disney Style

    For all the above outfits, Disney style is a popular way to incorporate a little magic through graphics tops and bottoms, or outfit accessories.

    For the kids, Princess Dresses and other character outfits are classic Disney Parks attire as well, but not necessarily built for comfort. These work best for little who may be spending some time in a stroller, or when you’re not pushing for a full-day non-stop in the parks.

While most Disney fans likely have both style of festive wear in their closet, sometimes you may not want a Disney character on your clothes, but you still want to capture that family vibe and ambiance of a Disney Christmas vacation. In these cases, Disney inspired – or subtle Disney clothes, as we like to say – is a great way to go. It’s the perfect complement to your official Disney wardrobe.     A lot of people think that the prospect of doing laundry while on vacation is crazy. But in these days of airline luggage challenges and the desire to put everything into a carry-on bag, doing laundry while on vacation can actually help to free up space in your luggage.Should You Do Laundry on Your Walt Disney World Vacation? But is doing laundry on your vacation really worth the benefits? Is this a convenience you'd enjoy, or an irritation you'd rather leave at home. Laundry at Walt Disney World Hotels Did you know that every Walt Disney World hotel has a laundry room (or rooms) for guests? Hotels in all Walt Disney World categories offer paid self-serve laundry facilities that you are free to use on a first-come first serve basis. For example, Pop Century has three laundry rooms and they’re open 24 hours. Why Do Laundry When You’re on Vacation? Sure, doing laundry on vacation sounds like a chore that’s best left at home, but there are times when having access to a laundry room is a good thing. Even if you don’t want to pack less because you can do laundry mid-week and get a fully refreshed travel wardrobe, there are other reasons why you might need the laundry room. Ever spilled something (or had a child who did) on one of your favorite Disney outfits? Dark chocolate on a brand new white t-shirt? This is another scenario when a quick run to the laundry room can save the day. The faster you get that item in the wash, the better the chances that stain will come out. Forget the sink in your hotel bathroom, a washing machine will do a much better job. How Much Does it Cost to Do Laundry at Walt Disney World? While the exact cost can change, a load of laundry in a Disney hotel laundry room is usually around two dollars per load. You can buy soap as well, so it’s all provided in one place. When is the Best Time to Do Laundry at a Disney World Hotel? While these things can vary because you can never fully predict the crowd levels in a laundry room, early morning is often best time to do laundry at Walt Disney World. Most guests are off to the parks or off to breakfast, so the laundry rooms can be less busy at this time. Put in a load of laundry and go grab a coffee or quick service breakfast. Afternoon can be good as well, and you go spend a little time by the pool while your laundry is on. Later in the evening is often the busiest times for the Disney hotel laundry rooms, so bear that in mind. If the laundry room happens to be close to your room, then you can always drop by to see how busy it is. On a similar note, if you plan to do laundry during your Disney vacation, do a little advance scouting when you first get to the hotel to see which times are least busy in the laundry room. That way you will have a better idea of when may be the best time to do your laundry, when the time comes. Disney Deluxe Villas and Laundry One of the benefits of staying in a Disney Deluxe Villa is that the one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas all have washer/dryer units right in the room. Not only is this very convenient, but it is also free.
