About this listen
Only months away from her dream wedding, Chelsea Kunde found out she had Hodgkins Lymphoma. Treatment was started and the effects of that treatment came: including hair loss. Chelsea’s bridesmaids, and lifelong friends, stepped up and decided to raise money to buy Chelsea her own wig to wear at her wedding.
Fast forward to today and not only did Chelsea beat cancer but has now joined her friends in starting an organization that provides wigs for people like Chelsea, experiencing medical hair loss.
The organization is called Wigged Out Inc. and is located in Phoenix, Arizona. We sat down with Chelsea in her home and had the opportunity to ask her about all the ins and outs of this organization.
In this episode we talk about: getting into business with friends (the ground rules you need to put in place first), misconceptions about hair loss, and the art of fearless fundraising (be bold, be alpha, and trust your mission).
