Over 10 years ago, I was overweight and didn't exercise. But then, I saw an ad to hike up Mount Kilimanjaro and impulsively signed up. The experience was tough, but it lit a fire within me. I started exercising and lost all my excess weight, ran my first half marathon, and even summated Mount Toubkal. Now, I exercise almost daily and understand the connection between a healthy body and a healthy mind. As someone with ADHD, I know how hard it can be to stay motivated to exercise. My advice: JFDI! Start small, use rewards, gamify your workout, choose something fun and enjoy the process. Remember, a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, especially for those with ADHD who are at a higher risk for obesity and Alzheimer's disease.
