  • 31. Aspiring RVers - Is RVing for Us???
    Nov 13 2024

This week I sit down with a couple that is nearing retirement and considering getting an RV for traveling across the U.S. With zero RV experience they have lots of great questions. In this episode, I address some of their questions and help them see that this is a process that requires thinking things through and evaluating the many options and decisions that we must make on our path to becoming RVers. They see how overwhelming it can be, and that with a clear path and plan this is a fun and exciting journey. The more you know, the less room there is for mistakes and regrets. Arm yourself with knowledge to have the best RV experience possible and hit the road with confidence!

  • 30. A Big THANK YOU and My Skirting Update
    Nov 5 2024

I hit a big milestone with this podcast on Nov. 2nd!!! Following up on Episode 29 regarding what skirting we chose and installed after my research. In this episode, I will give you the lowdown on what skirting we ordered, how long it took to receive it, how the installation went and my thoughts so far on it. So if you live in a very cold climate and are living fulltime in your RV, installing skirting and placing a small heat source like an infrared bulb under your RV can prevent your plumbing from freezing and bursting. Avoid this potentially costly and very inconvenient situation with proper winterization!

  • 29. Winterizing your RV for Fulltime Living & for Storage
    Oct 24 2024

If you are living full-time in your RV, or plan to store your RV in a very cold climate with freezing or below temperatures, winterizing your RV is critical. In this episode I go over the steps you need to take in either of these scenarios. Not winterizing properly for your situation can result in costly mistakes like a cracked hot water heater or bursting waterlines due to freezing.

  • 26. Follow Campground Etiquette, Be a Good Neighbor & Have Fun!!
    Sep 28 2024

Camping & RVing are a lot of fun!! Traveling, adventuring and meeting new people along the way make this lifestyle an enriching experience. It’s not always easy for sure, but having the right mindset allows one to get the most out of it. It can be disheartening when we come across people who may not demonstrate the respect that nature, property and people deserve. This podcast dives into campground etiquette and being a good neighbor. What does that look like and why is it important, as we embrace this nomadic lifestyle and desire to get the most out of it. If we are all willing to follow some simple, common-sense rules, then everyone benefits. when we all show mutual respect and consider how our actions can impact others around us, everyone wins!
