  • DOOMSDAY FOR DIDDY: TRIAL STARTS TODAY
    May 5 2025

Sean “Diddy” Combs loses his bid to delay trial, and today jury selection begins as celebrities with whom Diddy once partied gather for the Met Gala. Combs showed up to court in glasses and a pullover as Judge Arun Subramanian allows him to ditch prison clothes for trial. The Judge also allows defense to move forward with a written jury questionnaire, but puts a 30-question limit.

The defense hopes to gain insight on potential jurors’ opinions on multiple sex partners, cheating, intimate partner violence, drug use, rap and illegal firearm ownership. Jennifer Lopez may be forced to testify as prosecutors aim to bring the 1999 Club NY shooting into evidence. Lopez and Combs fled the club after an altercation that left three injured by gunfire.

Sean “Diddy” Combs defense lawyers insist he isn’t a rapist, but a swinger! Attorney Marc Agnifilo tells the court Combs simply engages in a swinger lifestyle, which is not illegal. Prosecutors plan to prove Combs uses his many business enterprises to facilitate “Freak Offs” featuring male prostitutes and women coerced into the performance.

At his last pre-trial hearing, prosecutors reveal Sean “Diddy” Combs rejected a plea deal. Federal prosecutor Madison Smyser discloses the deal was offered, but remains secretive about terms. Opening statements are expected on May 12th.
