Shocking story & a lot of phsyco babble
The fact that people didn't talk about their sexuality or religion, is Not the reason behind the crimes. The reason is a monster who wormed his way into people’s lives.
Let's not forget that Peter displayed paedophile tendencies while he was a teacher. To blame that on him being a Christian and in the position if the COE us nonsense.

Twists & Turns
Fascinating story. And very captivating in the way that Gillian tells it with her rather moralistic views on certain subjects early on, then having to deeply look into the moralistics of other views at a later date.
She uncovers a heap of deep subject matters which the public at large could certainly do with more discussion on. And more subjects she did not go near.
What leads one person to do something to another? What leads a person to have atrocities done to them. What part does our childhood play? What nurtures evil?
Thank you Gillian Pachter 🙏🏼

Gripping and sensitive
Bittersweet to finish this series. Such an awful and sad story reported with deep sensitivity and care.

Surprisingly compelling
I'm not a massive listener of murder based true crime stuff. Find it can get a bit angsty or repetitive. This was neither - genuinely consistently interesting and engaging. A very listenable cast of characters with enough diversity to make even long interviews compelling listens. A particularly well made podcast, highly recommended!
