Fantastic
Nicky Woolf is an investigative journalist, a sleuth, who spent a year searching for the elusive Q, who dropped cryptic messages in cyberspace, which were taken up by his (or her) followers.
QAnon started life in the mysterious dark web and emerged as a dangerous cult, which attracted, brainwashed and took over the lives of thousands of people, destroying families and ultimately resulting in the armed attack on the United States Capitol on 6 January 2021 in an attempt to overturn the US Presidential Election.
The frightening thing is that it could have succeeded and this amorphous collection of crazed followers is still active and not just in the US, but Europe as well. There has been recent activity in the UK and Belgium. The FBI are now in pursuit of them.
Nicky Woolf narrates his chase and describes his ups and downs as he cross-crosses the States. He enlists the help of experts and tapes many of his conversations. He is brave. He risked his life. It's an exciting journey and one can't help but recall the sleuthing of Woodward and Bernstein during the Watergate scandal.
He is a natural performer; his diction is perfect, and his journalistic images are memorable.
It's like a detective story, but a true one and a scary one, and un-put-downable. I listened to it in one go.

Fascinating, excellent podcast
I found this podcast exceedingly interesting. Ofc I knew what Qanon was, or at least I thought so. Yet I learned a lot from the information provided here.

Great production
A good listen and a fascinating insight into Internet subculture and how it filters into the mainstream. it lacked a little content into the beliefs of Qanon followers, focusing only on some fictions cabal and Epstein. I'm sure there's a lot more too it.

A great read (listen)
So well investigated, so well researched and gives the reader a really informative idea of the workings of the QAnon phenomenon. very well narrated too, i couldn't put it down. i think the author is so brave putting himself out there. aoife's contribution is invaluable . the ending is so desperately sad, there is no redemption.

Compelling
A lot of drama but underneath the chase are human victims of QAnon and their families. If this helps remember them and bring those responsible to justice then it was worth it.
