    Time for a Friday edition of GCR, plenty for us to cover on the program after a busy Thursday in the sports world. Stan ‘The Fan’ Charles will be joining us in studio as always and we’ll talk Orioles with him after the split in Tampa, look ahead to the set in the Bronx this weekend vs the Yankees and much more, plus we’ll go over Game 6 of the NBA Finals after the Pacers forced a Game 7 with a dominant win over the Thunder, and the USMNT got a 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia to advance to the quarterfinals of the Gold Cup. At 10:30am, we will talk some baseball with Trevor May, talk all about his podcast Mayday, his thoughts on the Orioles and see what else he’s up to since his playing days. At 11:50am, we will talk some more lacrosse with TJ Malone of the Maryland Whipsnakes after his Rookie of the Year campaign in 2024 and so much more. At 12:10pm, we will talk basketball with Baltimore native, DaJuan Summers (McDonogh) before the Big3 is in action at CFG Arena this Sunday, his thoughts on Carmelo Anthony going into the Hall of Fame and more. It’s a Friday so we’ll go over ‘This Week In (the rest of) Baseball’ too!

    Welcome into a Thursday edition of Glenn Clark Radio, we’re going to start the show by talking about the Orioles who found a new way to lose last night in Tampa, blowing an 8-0 lead before eventually falling to the Rays 12-8. We’ll talk all about it that, who this loss specifically falls on, and what’s next for the birds moving forward as they do still have a chance to salvage the series with another matchup vs the Rays tonight. Starting the program a few minutes early today with so much to cover because at 10:05am, we’ll talk some football with former Packer, now analyst, John Kuhn to get his thoughts on the Ravens signing of CB Jaire Alexander, what he’s got left after leaving Green Bay and how he could fit here in Baltimore. We’re going to switch gears at 10:20am to talk some lacrosse and some PLL with Maryland Whipsnakes attackman and Loyola alum Adam Poitras as we talk some lacrosse ahead of the PLL’s return to Baltimore this weekend at Homewood Field. At 10:45am, we will talk some hoops with Maryland legend Juan Dixon who is coaching Maryland’s TBT team this Summer as we talk Terps, Buzz Williams, and what Team Shell Shock’s mission is.     It’s a Would You Rather Wednesday here on GCR as we dive into the Orioles after a 5-1 road win in Tampa last night, we’ll talk all about the birds actually getting some hits with runners in scoring position and see if they can keep the momentum going with Trevor Rogers on the mound tonight. We’ll touch on the hockey as the Florida Panthers make themselves back-to-back Stanley Cup Final Champs in dominant fashion over the Oilers in game 6 last night. At 10:30am, we will have a chance to meet a member of the USMNT who was also born in Baltimore, Alex Freeman, who made his first USMNT this Summer and played all 90’ in team USA’s 5-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago in game 1 of the Gold Cup Sunday night. At 10:45am, we are going to switch gears to talk lacrosse with a Maryland legend, Jared Bernhardt, who is now a member of the Denver Outlaws, we’ll talk all about his return to lacrosse after a stint in the NFL, the PLL coming to Homewood Field this weekend and much more. Then in the second hour, we expect our good buddy Drew Forrester to be here as we talk NBA Finals, US Open, Stanley Cup Final, Orioles, Ravens, Would You Rather and so much more!

Alas, they’ll go right back at it tonight against the Rays again and we’ll tell you everything you need to know, plus mandatory minicamp for the Ravens gets underway, we’ll update you as needed from Owings Mills, and lots more of course. At 10:20am, we will be joined by Orioles relief pitcher Bryan Baker who chat all about the success he’s found out of the bullpen in 2025, as we catch up and see how he’s doing, his changed arm slot, and talk about the Orioles as a team in 2025, too. Also, the hotdog eating champion, Joey Chestnut will join us at 10:45am to tell us more about his return to the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. At 11am, we are going to head down to Annapolis to meet the new Navy Athletic Director, Michael Kelly, as we get to know Michael, learn more about his background and what his goals are for the Academy. At 11:20am, we’ll make our weekly trip to the farm and catch up with Orioles prospect and Chesapeake Baysox pitcher Trey Gibson who got called up from Aberdeen last week and sports a 15.11 K/9 this season!
