About this listen

Greetings Purposeful Family, Pastor David Jones here; I'm sharing this word with you all as a small intermissionary statement, a sort of between-words word, to encourage and uplift you all, and - having been led by Holy Spirit - share a more spiritual word of accountability and call to identity to us all so that we may be sure, still, and know the Lord is our God, and also know who we are and ought to be in His name on earth.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5 to let our light "so shine before all of man, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven." In a later word I will share how the responsibility for the growing darkness is in part on the hands of those in Christ; for in that I am saying, we as the Body, for decades, even centuries, not fully understanding what we ought to be doing with that which the Lord has entrusted unto us, have squandered the callings, the gifts, the opportunities, the time, and the life that the Lord has given to us for His honor and glory, and in turn have allowed for the expansion of darkness throughout our world.

This is not to any of our shame or condemnation, but instead a call to truly be as a "Soldier" who "does not concern himself with the matters of civilian life." Too often we find ourselves compromising with the devil, bargaining with belligerence and parlaying with precipitous powers that are somewhere they ought not to be rather than taking authority in the name of Jesus, and seeking to intentionally and boldly make His power, strength, honor, glory, blessing and life be known everywhere we go.

Let us pray that the same stream of God's healing power that was in Christ, and is, and that was in Peter who healed simply by walking by, be in us.

I pray this all in the might, strength, authority, and expectation of the efficacy of the testimony that is of Christ Jesus, and the manifestation of the prophetic wind of His breath and Spirit, established for eternity by the eternal covenant of the Blood of Christ, the Water of Christ, and the Spirit of Christ Jesus, that it is so. So be it. It is done.

And for those of you who would like to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, say this simple prayer out loud.

Peace, maturity, wisdom, strength, and blessings be with you all in Jesus' Mighty name.
