Tra i documenti sonori degli anni Venti ascoltiamo ad esempio lo stesso Gershwin al pianoforte (1926): nella canzone My One and Only, il compositore accompagna Fred Astaire che canta e danza, con il suono di percussioni dell’inconfondibile tip-tap.
