Thank you so much for this!

Been having severe trouble sleeping, falling as well as staying asleep and even purchased a sleep audiobook. This podcast (and especially the amazing performance of the host - cadence, speed, tone of voice....) is not only better, but in a completely different league. Thank you so much!

Puts me to sleep every time!

I often have real trouble falling asleep, but this sends me off every time without a problem. Even when I was severely ill and in constant pain, it was the only thing that would allow me some rest. Something about her voice is just hypnotic for me!

such a soothing voice

I love listening to this podcast, especially the Far From The Madding Crowd and Mrs Dalloway episodes which I go back to often.

I love these stories!

I listen to this podcast every night whilst falling asleep now. I find the tone of voice and everything just perfect - it's quiet, soothing but still interesting. Thanks for this excellent work.

Beautifully read. A relaxing and joyful experience. Thank you.

A calming and soothing way to end the day. The extracts are well chosen.

Bed time bliss

Although I’ve read many of these books before, the tone of the reader here is so sonorous and unfamiliar and unexcitable that listening fills me with sleepy nostalgia. And I seem to have forgotten the lengthy descriptions many of the books were filled with - pages upon pages dedicated to a single observation. Perfect for access to the land of nod.

I am never awake by the end

The reading is a little strange - lots of pauses so that you can almost hear the commas - but it does the trick: it's interesting enough to make me listen (and therefore switch off thinking about other stuff) but not interesting enough to keep me awake to the end.

But recommended for driving.

Love the stories and the narrator’s beautiful soothing voice

This series is wonderful, there are so many excellent stories to choose from. I have been introduced to , and have really enjoyed, some great classics. The reader’s voice is calm and soothing. The stories help me drift iff to sleep and if I wake up in the night I don’t panic, I listen to Just sleep again and it calms me down. Recommended !

That it sounds artificial, like A.I. reading

Sounds like automated voice reading (A.I), with artificial pauses. This breaks the mood and is not very conducive to proper relaxation
