The Dylatov Pass incident is one that can send you down the rabbit hole in a serious way. I was able to use lots of sources on this episode, including these:

    Sources:

    "David Paulides - Missing 411." Missing 411, missing411.com/.

    "Missing 411." Wikipedia, Wikimedia Foundation, 26 Apr. 2023, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missing_411.

The book I mentioned is I Know Who You Are, by Barbara Rae-Venter.

Here is a link to a photo from the incident. I do not recommend looking for more photos; they can be quite gruesome, and I didn't want to go very far int that territory myself. Here is a link to the memorial photo shown in the podcast cover.
