Sorry about the airplane and firework noises. Not sorry about the sweet little bird noises. Mercury kind of sounds like she recorded this episode in a tin can. She didn't, but it sounds like that. The actor who played young Han Solo is Alden Ehrenreich, and the actor who voiced Jar Jar Binks is in fact Ahmed Best. Whatchu want Natalie?  TO DRINK AND FIGHT!

This week Merc and Sharon learn about Watergate and giggle about Dick! Also sorry for the background noises. Mercury refuses to admit it's too loud to record in bed and Sharon lives in LA where July 4th fireworks begin on June 11th.

This week Merc and Sharon marvel that Oliver Platt is 6 foot f*cking 4. That's almost giant alligator size! Also they watch the creature feature Lake Placid.

The X-Files episode Sharon is talking about is "Quagmire" and is in Season 3. R.I.P. Quiqueg. 

A few corrections, Rainn Wilson plays Dr. Demento in Weird, not Michael Shannon. Edward Gorey is American. And, farts.

This week Merc and Sharon surprisingly don't talk about plants; but they do talk about horror films, Clea Duvall, and of course, 1999's Pygmalion/My Fair Lady adaptation, She's All That. 

This week Merc and Sharon kick off Clea Duvall month, talk about the importance of Camp, and go on more tangents than you can shake a pom pom at.

The 90's fashions and cool vibes abound as this week Merc and Sharon watch an actually sexy sexy caper movie, the 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. Apologies for the amount of times we say "plump," but no apologies for our Timothy Olyphant fixation. No, he isn't in this film. 

For anyone wondering (but not enough to Google it) "Hot Fuzz" had it's 15th Anniversary on March 14, 2022.
