  • Episode 5 - Get Back in The Aringus!
    Nov 7 2024

We guarantee that you will laugh several times during this episode. We start off with a little baseball talk then we have some updates from our previous episode. On the last episode we told you about the heroes of Carter County. This episode is about the outlaws (PWA) that took over in 1990 and 91. That group included a ref that could not count past 7 nor did he know time zones, a wrestler who liked to poop in the ring, a jealous man, and several other characters! Jon and Beau also talk about the most misused wrestling term and Beau gets on a rant!

  • Episode 4 - Carter County's Heroes
    Oct 17 2024

On this episode Jon and Beau take a look at the 1980s Wrestling Scene in Carter County Tennessee. Charlie "CY" Peters and Kim Birchfield had a very successful promotion for several years. They were able to do this without TV. How may you ask? Well, they did it through hard work, local newspaper coverage, and knowing their audience. They were able to grow their promotion and even take the weekly spot at the famed Johnson City, TN Rec. Center. Charlie and Kim were covered in the paper and even on the front page as the sports heroes of Carter County. We will explain everything we can by use of local newspaper archives.

Also, we have updates on flood relief in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, the UWA, and a couple other subjects.
