I'm not really a D&Der, so this series might not be for the more hardcore fans, I'm not sure, as they do seem to play abit loose with the rules but it's great light-hearted comedy roleplaying by the cast, with that being the main focus, even combat tends to be resolved through roleplay rather than a strict focus on the combat mechanics.
I've watched every episode on YouTube and now starting again with the Podcast version.
For those interested, I'd probably recommend, if you can, watching the YouTube series first, as you get to see their reactions as well and just before each episode on this Podcast they'll have a quick discussion on what they remember about each episode, so some spoilers but great to reminisce with them.

If anyone likes the Oxventure videos, the podcast is just for you! You get great behind the scenes insight into the stories, characters, jokes you may have missed and just time to hear the Oxboxtra crew talking nonsense which is always lovely.

I especially loved the episode where Luke was the guest DM, which has lots of good advice for anyone looking to DM or GM and he's an exemplar for first time DMing.

The Oxventure guild have an amazing ability to convey their own friendships through their adventures and make it a completely accessible and positive experience whether you are long term or first time listener. with humour being the focus of their time together you will laugh and cry along with their stories as you learn more about their deeper selves

Oxventure was my first ever dnd podcast and, boy, did I make an excellent choice in listening to those guys!

From silliness, jokes and downright outrageous situations, to epic, serious and disturbing (I'm looking at you Merilwen and your meat grinder) this podcast has it all and I can't wait to see what the future seasons will bring!

The oxventure podcast is a highlight of every Friday. I can't recommend this enough to fans of D&D (and to fans of games in general). The chatty sections are charming and the actual play sections are always hilarious and heartwarming.
