  • Ben and Rob lock themselves into ‘Panic Room’, David Fincher’s box-office sensation starring Jodie Foster, Kristen Stewart, Forest Whitaker and Jared Leto. Mother and daughter duo Meg and Sarah are forced to hide in a panic room in their house when intruders break in; unfortunately for them, the intruders want something that is hidden inside the room and will stop at nothing to claim it. This film allowed Fincher to calm studios fears in his financial reliability after the box-office failure of ‘Fight Club’ whilst flexing his muscles as a technical master behind the camera.

    So with everything planned to perfection for this single location movie, why did this movie end up taking nearly three years to finish?
