 Most of us, as believers in Christ Jesus, have no problem understanding that all our past sins and mistakes have been forgiven when we first accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord. However, the problem arises when we consider all our future sins after being saved because we do not understand that all of our sins were future when Jesus died. Plus, many of us do not understand that with God, there is no future or past, because God created time, and to him, time is a created thing. So with him out past, present, and future can be taken care of with one action by him. But to understand this, we must know that if Christ's death did not take care of all a person's sins. Then every time you, as a believer in him, sin, he would have to come back from heaven and die all over again, But he does not have to die again for any new sins committed by you are me because having died once was more than enough. So instead we thank him because that sin is forgiven, and we do not keep sinning over and over again.
