About this listen

The UK's rail network is one of the safest in the world, but this is a reputation that has been hard-won through a dark history of death and destruction. Each of these accidents has helped to prevent another in the future. Signals to Danger is a series of Podcasts exploring and explaining the worst disasters on the UK rail network. Using reports, inquiries, news articles and first hand accounts, we will dive deep into these accidents and understand what went wrong, who was effected and how each incident went on to change the railway going forwards.

Daniel Fox works in the railway industry. Why these podcasts are so good is that he combines a real care for those working in and using the railways with an explanation of each accident that is clear and understandable.
The very fact that he is not a professional presenter makes these episodes all the more special.
For anyone who really wants to understand how our railways have learned and evolved in response to what has happened in the past, then these podcasts are a must listen.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Well researched and an excellent presentation style.
