The Foolish Heron and Mongoose ( मूर्ख बगुला और नेवला)

  • Summary

  • Author: Vishnu Sharma Once upon a time, there lived a group of herons on a tree. In the hollow trunk of the same tree dwelt a snake that ate the young herons before they grew. Out of sorrow the heron approached a crab and asked for his help. The crab listened to heron’s problem and suggested a way to the foolish heron which will get rid of both the snake and the herons too who were always fighting with the crabs. Crab advised heron to put some pieces of meat from mongoose’s cave all the way to snake’s house in the tree. The trick worked. Chasing the bytes of food, Mongoose reached snake’e place and eat it but then also found his way to heron’s home and ate all of heron’s family members too. This story teaches us an important lesson that we should not blindly follow any advice that is given to us but think about all its consequences. Short but great moral stories for kids that can be used at bedtime or any other time during the day. www.chimesradio.com FB: https://www.facebook.com/chimesradio/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vrchimesradio/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChimesRadio
