  • Season 4, Episode 1 – Paul Everitt
    May 21 2025

(This episode premiered on April 16, 2024, as part of World Plone Day 2024)

Paul Everitt might not have actually invented the internet but he was in the room for and perhaps even the person behind the creation of the U.S. Navy’s web site: www.navy.mil over 30 years ago.

First Plone Foundation president, co-founder of Zope Corporation, ZEA Partners, and Agendaless Consulting, Paul is one of those guys who is smart as a whip, boatloads of fun to be around, and (goldurnit!) good looking to boot.

Yes, you just end up gritting your teeth but you want to be around him and hear his great stories.

In this episode, we roll back the years to the time when software was delivered on diskette, people read books, and Python was just getting started on the web.

(You can catch the video of this episode at https://youtu.be/sWZnSLIIwCA and enjoy Paul and Kim's facial expressions and special hand signs)
