  • Has Tom Tonks scored the goal of the season?
    Sep 26 2024

Tamworth have extended their winning streak in the National League to three matches, with the last two of those coming away from home.

Tom Tonks scored a stoppage time wonder goal as the Lambs beat Braintree Town on Saturday, before providing one of his trademark long throws for Dan Creaney to score an added time winner of his own at AFC Fylde just three days later.

Can the Lambs make it four wins on the bounce at home to Altrincham?

  • Grading Tamworth’s August in the National League
    Sep 3 2024

Well, it’s safe to say none of us were expecting the 7-0 thumping Tamworth received at Barnet on Saturday. The result meant the Lambs ended August in the National League relegation zone.

We look back on an away day to forget and review the month of August as a whole, each giving our grades for how we think Tamworth did.

It’s the small matter of second-place Eastleigh away next up for the Lambs. We look ahead to the game and make our predictions.

    Aug 23 2024

Tamworth’s last two matches have very much felt like a ‘welcome to the National League’ sort of week for the club.

Up next for Tamworth is a visit to Boston United on Saturday, before hosting Aldershot Town on Monday. Can the Lambs get their first three points of the season from these matches?
