  • Alpha Influencer- Alundas Havens
    Jul 21 2022

Alundas Havens ia a Marine Corps Veteran. I am originally from Fresno, CA and now reside an hour outside of San Diego, CA. During my life I endured physical abuse, emotional abuse, alcoholism, and created mental barriers to keep myself “safe” from the world. What I didn’t know is that I trapped myself into a box where I had limited beliefs and didn’t understand simple life concepts. As I got older, I challenged my belief system and began to find out who I wanted to become. I searched for the emptiness inside and tried to put that flame out but I did not know how. The Marine Corps allowed me to find my tribe and excel but when I had a freak injury and that too took a toll on my mental well being. I had to leave what I was good at and searched for what was next, as a Veteran It’s tough to reintegrate into a society that does not understand you one bit. I started The Winners Paradigm to help people who are currently battling to improve and calibrate their mindset so they can achieve their definition of success. I even partnered with my mentor to start a company helping Alpha Entrepreneurs/Podcasters Get Aligned To Their Ideal Shows/Guests to MAXIMIZE their influence and create an everlasting IMPACT I can talk for days on mindset, tools to succeed, addiction, trauma, coping mechanisms, energy, how adapting allows me to do well in business, sales, and so much more! My mission is to help others who are seeking knowledge to get to the next level in life and in business. I release new content every Friday at 8:00 am (PST). • Medal of Honor- US Army Ranger Leroy Petry
    May 16 2022

US Army Ranger Leroy Petry visits OPFOB ( www.opfob.org ) to kick off the Light The Fire 22 Days of Veteran Suicide Awareness. Leroy spends time with Warrior's Voice host Zachary Green and talks about his experiences in the US Army and the heroic battle in which he lost his arm and was awarded the Medal of Honor.

"Every human impulse would tell someone to turn away. Every soldier is trained to seek cover. That's what Sergeant Leroy Petry could have done. Instead, this wounded Ranger, this 28-year-old man with his whole life ahead of him, this husband and father of four, did something extraordinary. He lunged forward, toward the live grenade. He picked it up...and threw it back - just as it exploded."

    -President Barack Obama

    ______________________________________

    Official Citation

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, March 3, 1863, has awarded in the name of Congress the Medal of Honor to

    Staff Sergeant Leroy A. Petry

    United States Army

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty:

Staff Sergeant Leroy A. Petry distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty in action with an armed enemy in the vicinity of Paktya Province, Afghanistan, on May 26, 2008. As a Weapons Squad Leader with D Company, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Staff Sergeant Petry moved to clear the courtyard of a house that potentially contained high-value combatants. While crossing the courtyard, Staff Sergeant Petry and another Ranger were engaged and wounded by automatic weapons fire from enemy fighters. Still under enemy fire, and wounded in both legs, Staff Sergeant Petry led the other Ranger to cover. He then reported the situation and engaged the enemy with a hand grenade, providing suppression as another Ranger moved to his position. The enemy quickly responded by maneuvering closer and throwing grenades. The first grenade explosion knocked his two fellow Rangers to the ground and wounded both with shrapnel. A second grenade then landed only a few feet away from them. Instantly realizing the danger, Staff Sergeant Petry, unhesitatingly and with complete disregard for his safety, deliberately and selflessly moved forward, picked up the grenade, and in an effort to clear the immediate threat, threw the grenade away from his fellow Rangers. As he was releasing the grenade it detonated, amputating his right hand at the wrist and further injuring him with multiple shrapnel wounds. Although picking up and throwing the live grenade grievously wounded Staff Sergeant Petry, his gallant act undeniably saved his fellow Rangers from being severely wounded or killed. Despite the severity of his wounds, Staff Sergeant Petry continued to maintain the presence of mind to place a tourniquet on his right wrist before communicating the situation by radio in order to coordinate support for himself and his fellow wounded Rangers. Staff Sergeant Petry's extraordinary heroism and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service, and reflect great credit upon himself, 75th Ranger Regiment, and the United States Army.

  • The Father’s Blessing - Vikrant Shaurya
    May 14 2022

Zachary interviews Vikrant Shaurya is the Founder and CEO of BestsellingBook.com. Vikrant shares his inspirational story of dropping out of engineering school and avoiding letting down his father who sold many of his possesions to have him become an engineer.  The next few years his parents didn't speak to him and he fell in to debt trying to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. He eventually perfected a process to transform fuzzy book ideas into actual #1 bestsellers on the likes of Amazon, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. He tested this process on himself, with stellar results — earning six digits only two months after launching his own #1 bestseller, How to Write a Bestseller: Become a Bestselling Author, Attract High-Value Clients, and Skyrocket Your Authority. And this process is precisely the same one he’s used to helping hundreds of entrepreneurs, speakers, coaches, and consultants become bestselling authors — despite them having neither the skill nor the time to write their own books. But it never ends with just a #1 bestseller. Because these authors would go on to leverage their bestselling-author status to exponentially grow their business, boost their industry authority, gain more clients, get invited to speaking gigs, and ultimately expand their platform to positively impact more lives around the world. And Vikrant’s clients have found themselves featured on famous media outlets like Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Fox News, BBC News, ABC News, and more. He eventually reconciled with his parents and even inspired them to start their own entrepreneurial businesses with great success.  Links to some of Vikrant’s most recent podcast guesting: https://bestsellingbook.com/media/ Testimonials: https://bestsellingbook.com/testimonials Author Success Stories: https://bestsellingbook.com/case-studies/
