A Meeting of Hearts with Wolfgang Bischoff

In this special episode, Brooke Sullivan shares a heartfelt conversation with Wolfgang Bischoff, a mystic, psychologist, and founder of the Human Culture Academy in Germany. This serendipitous meeting, sparked by a connection through Pandit Rajmani Tigunait’s translator, blossomed into a deep connection and the creation of "Satsang Soulfood," an upcoming event in San Francisco for the Summer Solstice (June 20th).

Brooke reflects on the value of speaking with an elder in The Himalayan Tradition of Tantra who has walked a path of both worldly success—as a businessman, philanthropist, and revolutionary—and deep spiritual exploration. She was moved by Wolfgang’s insights, his poetic explanations, and his reflections on the guru-student relationship, including the shifts he made to better serve those involved.

Wolfgang Bischoff brings over 45 years of study and spiritual integration under three Himalayan Masters, known for bridging psychological wisdom with sacred teachings. He offers a rare transmission of mantra science, contemplative depth, and heart-centered presence. His work includes mentoring global leaders and supporting Manini e.V., a nonprofit educational project that uplifts girls through education in Orissa, India.

The episode delves into Wolfgang’s background, including his involvement in the 1968 West German student movement and his subsequent journey, which led him to work in North Carolina prisons, with Amnesty International, and ultimately to the Himalayan tradition. Key takeaways include Wolfgang’s emphasis that meditation is only successful if it manifests in daily life, and his evolution of the traditional guru-student paradigm.

Brooke also shares her own reflections, speaking from her garden about a blooming clary sage flower. She presents this flower as an ally in a time when we must turn inwards for the strength, clarity, and support needed to be active and vital people in the world, and to approach our practice with humility and grace. This episode was recorded during a time of significant socio-political activity, and Brooke emphasizes the importance of turning inwards, finding inner peace, and connecting with community.

Listeners are invited to join “Satsang Soulfood” in San Francisco on Summer Solstice, June 20th and a mantra workshop immersion on June June 22nd. Brooke encourages listeners to share their takeaways and insights from the episode and provides contact information for both herself and Wolfgang Bischoff. This episode is a profound exploration of inner work, outer engagement, and the power of connection.

A Mother's Day Reflection with Brooke of The Wild Temple

What happens when the ache we carry isn’t just recent heartbreak—but something rooted in our earliest relationships?

In this deeply personal solo episode, Brooke explores the Mother Wound—a layered emotional and energetic imprint often formed when our primary caregivers were unable to meet our emotional needs with presence, empathy, or consistency.

With tenderness and insight, Brooke unpacks:

    • The nuances of this wounding—how it manifests in adulthood and why it’s often hard to name
    • When and how traditional therapy, yoga therapy, and flower essences can each play a role in the healing journey
    • Real-life stories and case studies from her own path and her work with clients
    • The role of nervous system stability and sacred self-care in preparing the body and psyche for deep emotional work

You’ll also hear a reflection on self-care as an act of time-traveling love:
"Self-care is self-love that your past self gives your future self."

This episode is a tender offering for anyone navigating grief, neglect, estrangement, or longing around Mother’s Day—and a reminder that with Nature, practice, and support, we can reweave the love we may have never received.

  • The Undercurrent of Love Activism: What’s Not Being Talked About
    Feb 12 2025

    Send us a text

In a time where so much focus is placed on destruction, division, and collapse, we often miss the quiet, yet powerful movements of love medicine that is transformation in action.

Why is no one talking about this??

We hear about the wars, the climate disasters, the chaos of political power struggles.

But what about the women rebuilding their communities after crisis?
What about the healers, musicians + artists guiding people back into their bodies?
What about the therapists, the teachers, and the everyday humans who are quietly doing the deep work of remembering who they are?

💫 What if, amidst the destruction, there is also something profoundly beautiful being born?

Because there is. And it is this movement—the one that isn’t loud, but is deeply impactful—that I want to honor today.

Honoring the Work of Therapists & Inner Healers

I want to take a moment to express deep gratitude for therapists right now.

And for those of us doing the work—the thousands paying attention to our mental hygiene, refining our awareness, and learning how to take care of our minds as much as we do our bodies.

According to the ancient Sages, this is the most powerful work we can do.
    To clean the mind.
    To clear distortions.
To see ourselves, and the world, as it truly is.

Because when the collective mind is sick, when it’s full of unchecked stress, trauma, and conditioning, it creates a world where it’s not just hard to survive—it’s hard to feel safe, to enjoy life, to thrive.

So, here’s to Therapy Rising—to the last five years of this shared, unfolding conversation about what it really means to be well. To the common language we have been learning, so that we can heal and cohabitate better, together.

    This is an initiation.
