  • Weather in 5, 10/2/24, weather conditions across the US are rather quiet with little in the way of adverse weather. A few showers are forecast for Upstate NY and Northern New England as a cold front passes east. Hot weather is going on in the Southwest US, and a few showers are moving through the Northern Great Lakes. Hurricane Kirk is way out in the Atlantic and no threat to land. Behind Kirk there is Tropical Depression 13 which will become Leslie in short order but this storm too will recurve into the open waters of the Western Atlantic.
