During a visit to the shooting range, things get interesting when an old guy called Big Jake outshoots Sid and then saves her from two huge goons who smell like the Drake. Matters take a turn for the worst soon after when Big Jake turns up dead.

John Smoke is gone, and Sidney is determined to get him back at any cost. With the help of Sam and Guppy, her search leads her to a bizarre funeral home in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is there that she discovers that the deep well of secrets has depths that she couldn't even fathom. Another level of evil reveals itself.

And where there are graveyards there is death, chaos and destruction. Meanwhile, the most notorious dragon hunters of all, The Clerics of Barnabus, begin their plot to take Nath Dragon down.

Finding themselves neck-deep in a battle with the warmers, Nath and company seek to vanquish Nalzambor's greatest threat...the Titans. Eckubahn the Titan will stop at nothing to destroy the dragons and take over mankind. With the aid of the faerie Empress Lotuus, they rally the dragon-hating giants. In the meantime, Nath, Selene, Brenwar, Bayzog and Ben have their hands full battling one hive of warmers after another. The new menace is spreading too fast and dragon casualties are stacking up.

The final leg of the fatal journey is at hand as Grey Cloak and Dyphestive cling to survive in the darkest corners of Gapoli and other worlds abroad. It will take more than armies to defeat Black Frost and his diabolical minions, who continue to grow in strength in power. No man, woman, or beast will escape the wrath of the gargantuan terrifying terror, but the fearless Blood Brothers and their comrades will stop at nothing to rid the world, once and for all, of the evil menace or die trying.
