The book is about time travel into the future. A female super soldier from 2035, a cattle rancher from 1929, a 12-year-old oversized boy from the 1950's, and a prostitute from 1970's New York, take a trek into the past, but end up going into the future instead. They find devastation and the human population nearly wiped out from some unknown cataclysm. Their trek takes them on an adventure into the unknown as they unravel clues to the fate of the earth.

Retribution is the final chapter of the story of Eddie and policewoman Sam Jacobs, who were responsible for the closure of the drugs cartel run by the Millichip family. It now leads to the desire for retribution by the Drugs cartel. Juan Ramos, a Lima cop, played a key part and now seeks election as a Senator to continue to fight crime in Peru. He also is a target. Danger follows the Jacobs both in Peru and London, leading to a dramatic finale on the Exe Estuary.
