Many people who have dated or chosen to marry narcissistic people come to me for help. They need to know how to relate to their narcissists. They must learn how to stay out of the lines of fire of the narcissists. They are stuck in cycles of abuse and manipulation, with seemingly no end in sight. They are distraught at the possibility of continuing the relationships, but they are also at a loss as to how to continue on without their partners.

Narcissists can have many traits that may be undesirable to others, especially in a relationship dynamic. They often talk down to others or criticize them. They live by their own morals and values, which may change as it suits them. They can be extremely vain and self-conscious, constantly being fussy about little things. They don't enjoy intimacy and connectedness that others enjoy in relationships. The world seems to revolve around the person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

The narcissist is a force to be reckoned with. He has a nihilistic view of the world. He views his life as pointless. He has no religion, and most narcissists will actively consider themselves as being agnostic or atheistic. He has no guided purpose in his life. He is bored and listless. The only thing that gives a narcissist real pleasure is seeing other people in emotional pain, confusion, and suffering at his hands.

Narcissistic abusers... They manipulate. They lie. They cheat. They pick fights. They gaslight to make their partners feel as though they are losing their minds. They compartmentalize their lives so that they can keep their stories and their characters straight. They seem to become whomever the situation calls for. They seem to do it with ease and a lack of conscience.

Many of my listeners are long-suffering daughters or sons of narcissistic mothers. They experience chronic complex PTSD for years after suffering abuse at the hands of their mother. Some people experience emotional abuse, while others also experience the physical side of the abuse from the narcissist in their lives. Most of them will agree that the words and actions of their mothers cut much deeper than the physical pain ever could.

This book will discuss the traits of a good mother in contrast with the traits of a bad mother. It will cover real cases of mothers with borderline personality disorder and some of the cruel treatment they gave their children. The children of seriously ill borderline mothers often grow up with posttraumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizoid disorder, psychopathy, or narcissism. They can experience a wide range of physical and emotional conditions that are directly related to the chronic stress and the chaos that they lived through as children.

Many little girls grow up wanting to marry their daddy at some point in their childhood development. It is a natural part of life and of family. It promotes healthy sexual development in our children, so that they will be able to choose a partner later in life.
