The Conquest of Grellbain

In this book, we are introduced to Timar, a young Ekädi hunter. The Ekädi are a race of scavengers that live deep in the heart of the Ruegol forest. Their peaceful existence is interrupted by the appearance of reptilian warriors from across the sea, led by Lord Vengru, a ruthless general who sets out to take his revenge on Grellbain, the largest fortified city in the world. To gain the power he requires, he enlists the help of a witch who uses dark sorcery to show him that in order to attain his goal of destroying Grellbain, he must seek out a weapon called the Sword of Tyre.

Following the attacks on Ranshire and Browak, Timar and his companions embark on a journey to reach safety behind the walls of Grellbain. Along the way, they face hurdles that test the strength of their friendships and run into others who are fleeing the scourge of Vengru’s wrath. Deceptions, betrayals, and unexpected alliances all come together, culminating in an epic climax when the Sword of Tyre is finally found and the two sides collide in a fierce battle. The stakes have never been higher, nor the horizon appeared so grim.

This book is the final installment of the trilogy: The Conquest of Grellbain. After joining sides with his enemy, Timar finds himself struggling between loyalty to his friends and his desire to follow his darker instincts. Meanwhile, Vengru strengthens his hand and finally marches on the great city of Grellbain. It is at the gates of Grellbain that the outcome of this epic adventure will be decided. Lives will be lost, ties broken, and ultimately the fate of the known world will be decided as all forces converge in one final battle.
