About this listen

The chemistry between Stephen Foster and Nubia Perry is an undeniable fact.

The handsome, dynamic former rugby star is used to getting who he wants with minimal effort, but Nubia's steadfast refusal to acquiesce - while also making it clear that she's equally interested in him - is compelling enough to keep his attention firmly planted on her.

Even once it's clear that Nubia's polished façade is something she puts on for the public, to hide the scarred, vulnerable woman underneath, Stephen persists. He isn't intimated by the model-turned-mogul's aggressive personality - it only draws him in further.

Relationships aren't even on Nubia's radar. She has friends, family, and her steadily growing brand. After a failed engagement to the man she thought she'd build her life with - an athlete, at that - she's not interested in anything beyond having her physical needs met.

Unavoidable chemistry and close proximity work in tandem to bring these two onto the same wavelength. With the eyes of the world watching, will they deny the obvious or give in to the inevitable seductions of passion, companionship, and love?

Contains mature themes.

OMG! LOVED THIS BOOK!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Phew!! What a rollercoaster! First of all. I love the dialogue in Christina C Jones' books. And Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem are the BEST narrators. Okay. This book had me laughing and crying and shouting out loud. I can't even tell you about the storyline properly, as I don't want to give anything away... but the story takes a turn I didn't see coming, then another turn that just drops one of the main characters off an emotional cliff 😖But!!! I had to salute their resolve. It was extreme, but I couldn't fault them 😒 Obviously, this is making no sense to you, but this book is brilliant and was worth my credit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I want more. Perfect.

This book was perfection. It was the right side of banter, romance, spicy, drama, tragedy, etc. Nubia was wounded by her ex and never allowed herself to have a meaningful relationship for 5 years as a result. Stephen is a player and has been pursuing Ninja for awhile. Their tension is strong and hot. The story develops when they decide to give a go at being together and they get deep, discovering each other sensitive and weak points and dealing how to deal with the serious surprises that come their way. I laughed, cried and felt a bunch of other emotions. It was great.
I also got the audio book and let me tell you the narration was exceptional, I will listen anything narrated by Jacob Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan their voices and interpretation was outstanding.

Love love

The story was beautifully executed. I love that Stefan had to show her he loved her instead of just saying it 🥹

Enjoyed the storyline

I love and hate the Male voice. I think I hate the most when he tries to sound like a female. It throws me off so much. Other than that they're doing a grea job. I enjoyed the storyline in this one because there was some serious stuff involved and it wasnt all fun and jokes.
