Loved the book, excellent spice. The ending confused me as so many things were left unfinished, but there is another book coming. A sentence or two indicating that they haven't just forgotten about key parts of the story would be good 🤣

The FMC was a bit hypocritical at times and I did want to slap her.. however, it's a great book and should be read!

The spice is so good. Very much so. What a roller coaster. I was hoping for duet narration or at least more than one VA. The first 10 hours were better than the last. It’s an experience overall.

Overall I really enjoyed it, but the war could have played more than a 5 minute part. I know this was a spice based book but it had the bones for so much more so while I’m not disappointed, I feel like it could have been so much more and I’d have eaten it up

every person i have tried to explain this book to has looked at me gobsmacked. It has been quite the experience and the spice level is mad. The warning not to listen while at work was spot on there is no concentrating during this book. The narrator does a great job of bringing it all to life. I will be listening again.

The story had great potential, and I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of the book. However, I struggled with the second half. Temperance’s entitlement and double standards were infuriating—she came across as selfish and, frankly, unlikable. Somehow, the MMCs (both of whom were far too good for her, especially Leo) didn’t seem to notice.

The ending left a lot of unanswered questions—not in a suspenseful, cliffhanger way, but more in a frustrating, plot hole kind of way. While the book started off as an intriguing ride, the initial excitement sadly faded into a feeling of "meh" by the end.

There is nothing wrong with the reader, but this book is the most boring and stupid thing ever. If you like selfish and dumb FMCharacters and absolutely non-interesting MMCharacters then this one is for you. No, actually, forget that, please just SKIP THIS NONSENSE
