Would give more than 5* if I could.
I absolutely loved reading the book first time around and the audio just blew me away!
This is written in a single POV however the audio uses multiple narrators which is friggin fantastic! All narrators did an outstanding job to bring this audio to life.
As for the story itself…….
Foooookin hell!
Totally engrossed, on the edge and waiting for the curve ball to slap me in the face.
Wow what a story! I think I held my breath from about half way!
This book is insane, as is Callum 🤣🤣 but brilliantly insane.
Poor Emery didn’t stand a chance, when Callum sets his sight on something, nothing will get in his way! Yup Nothing!!
Emery is a “take no crap” kinda girl, but when a domino effect of bad luck lands in her lap she’s about to lose everything…..In walks Mr Billionaire with an offer she can’t refuse….or can she, we’ll she’s not about to accept without a fight!
Bring on more Morally Grey….can’t wait to see what Cole’s story will be.

Lies, love and lots more
Did not expect this story to touch me in the way that it did. Lies, love and lots more, if anyone has any doubts; don't, this story will take you, surprise you, excite you and leave you totally understanding the lies and loving both main characters♡

Unhinged MMC and FMC 😂🤣
I thought the FMC was unhinged from go, which is further buttressed by Tara’s narration 😂. MMC is even more unhinged - jeez! I don’t know what to make of this story to be honest except my mouth was agape and I chuckled a few times at the craziness of it all

Laughed out loud!
Really enjoyed this story, even though the MMC is morally grey (!) he is adorable and I laughed out loud quite a few times. The female narrator is excellent and really brought the FMC to life. Worth a listen!

Such a fun time
This book follows Emery & Callum. Emery owns a independent bookstore that is about to go out of business thanks to a massive chain opening across the street from her, other things in her life are falling apart left and right, the woman can't seem to catch a break, that is until Callum a total stranger walks into her bookstore with a mutually beneficial proposition and our story goes from there.
This book was just a fun time, the fantastic banter, snark & humour I have come to expect from this author was there in abundance and I really enjoyed that. The "twist" with Callum towards the end was obvious in all honesty, but it feels like it is supposed to be as because this story is told only from Emery's POV you putting those puzzle pieces together gives you a glimpse into Callums personality that you wouldn't get otherwise. Unfortunately the emotional connection between their characters did suffer a bit for me because of the lack of his POV which made my investment in their relationship less than it should have been.
The chemistry between them physically was definately there and I enjoyed the spice in this book, I love a domineering dirty talking MMC so it definitely ticked boxes for me. Having a past character pop up in this and others mentioned by name makes it clear that things will cross over somewhere at some point in the future with her past series which I'm looking forward to. The audiobook is well done, although the story itself is single POV the audiobook is duet multicast and it made such a difference to my enjoyment of the book to have a male narrator for Callums dialogue as it helped to separate his character from within the single POV narrative. 🌶🌶🌶

On favourites list
It is one of those books that can be listened to again and again. Full of humour, energy, anger, love and lies.
Boos 2 here I come.
