The synopsis and the beginning of the book had a lot of promise, enough to draw me in, but I was left disappointed by the end of the book.

I personally felt the author concentrated more on the hot and heavy than really developing the characters and story plots. I also felt she had too many many characters and should have concentrated on developing one main character with a couple of close side characters who could have then received their own stories later. Too much crammed into 3 books and just not enough time to develop.
