Loved the story but the performance was strangely disjointed like she'd re-recorded bits - offputting

What a fantastic, gripping story. The characters are believable and relatable, no one’s perfect, but they are endearing and it’s easy to get behind them, feel for them and urge them on.

As other listeners have said, the narrator’s voice isn’t ideal, but the story kept me so engaged I could overlook it after a while. (I kept wanting her to go and cough or blow her nose…) but she did convey the emotions and drama.

I only have one issue. I need book two now. Like stat.

I can see why this is so popular. I was so invested from the beginning. I loved every minute of it. And I need the next book NOW!!! THE ENDING SHOOK ME!!!!!

This was amazing. It was one of those books where everything in my life had to stop until I finished this. It has dragons (scary and cute), romance (with a ‘lil spice), a love interest who is dark, broody and wields shadows. It was fast paced and while some of the twists at the end where predictable the one at the very end I didn’t see coming, at all.

The narrator was a good pick and was easy to listen to (except every time the word ‘armoire’ came up, which it did with surprising frequency).

it has everything you're looking for it's a good storyline lots of action a touch of romance

I read a lot of science fiction and only a few hold my interest these days the storyline has few twists and Turns and and was very pleasant to listen to it keeps you engaged the whole time it's worth putting in your wish list

Great twist at the end of book 4! Very unexpected. Love this story it’s different and very cool. The female narrator is really good and infused such action and excitement into the mix. Really enjoyed the First 4 books.
