I love writing crime thrillers, and I am now writing in two series: The DI Giles Series, with 24 books so far and a 25th in progress, and the DI McKenzie Series with 5 books and a 6th on the way. I've always been fascinated by true crime and love a good puzzle. When I was twelve, my English teacher said I had an extraordinary talent for writing. At the time, I didn't have her confidence. I began my working life as a scientist (biochemist) in Oxford, during which I used to go out on shift as a special constable with Thames Valley Police. After this, I spent fifteen years working in criminal justice for the probation service. Writing is now my full-time career. Any support I receive from my readers is very much appreciated. I couldn't do this without you. I love doing the research for my novels and getting out and about on the scene as much as I possibly can. My son loves those adventures, too. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I love writing them.
