Chester Goad grew up in Scott County, Tennessee in the mountains of Appalachia. He is a former teacher and congressional staffer, who works in higher education. He is a learning and leadership fanatic having volunteered as an advocate for people who learn differently, and his advocacy efforts have taken him from Appalachia to Africa. A self-described public policy geek, Chester co-authored Tennessee's "Dyslexia is Real" bill. Community service, movies, reading, surfing the web, spending time with family and friends, church, a cold, fizzy, Dr. Enuf soda, and a great cup of coffee are just a few things that keep him sane! PURPLE PEOPLE LEADER is a #1 AMAZON BESTSELLER in BOTH MANAGEMENT SCIENCE AND IN LEADERSHIP IN CHRISTIAN LIVING.
