After 40 years of teaching, I started living my retired life in the country home that my husband and I designed together. My faith journey spans several decades and I have worn many "hats" during my life. I have tied them securely and held them in place with my Faith "hat" to face many a trial and tribulation both emotionally and physically. I have experienced divorce 3 times, miscarriage twice, sexual assault at gun point, as well as having 2 beautiful children and 2 step children. I have a son-in-law and two daughters-in-law and I am enjoying relationships with siblings, experiencing grandchildren, and finally a soulmate and loving husband. I have learned to listen to the small voice in my heart and follow the LORD's leading. I am a modern day walking talking miracle. This book was hand written in the mid to late 90's and finally put into digital form and submitted for publication in December 2022. It has taken 20+ years to come to light and the power of the Lord to shine through. In typing this book I was able to reaffirm my reason for writing the book in the first place. My Victim's Advocate that was with me through pre-trial, trial, and post trial wrote the foreword for the book. She really captured the heart and the reason for my writing of the book. At the end of this book I made available several resources that will be helpful to women in abusive relationships and friends of women whom they suspect are in abusive relationships. My prayer and hope is that anyone who reads the book may learn to be an overcomer with the help of the Lord. Both books are available in e-book format and paperback. I am working on the audiobook format for "Healed by the Master's Hand A Story of Faith, Survival, and Forgiveness" to be released soon (6-8weeks) after the title is released in April.
