Ellen Buchegger grew up in a family where love, tradition, and strong connections were the cornerstones of everyday life. Deeply influenced by the familial values passed down through generations, Ellen is a proud mother of two adult sons who lead healthy and happy lives with their significant others. Professionally, Ellen has worked at Mervis Diamond Importers for over 40 years, holding various positions, including buyer, sales representative, and currently accounting. Recently, Ellen began embracing a new chapter in her life as an author. Her first book, “From Diamond Rough to Engagement Ring Ready: A Diamontologist Gives Her Tips on Choosing the Perfect Engagement Ring” was published in November 2024 and draws from her extensive experiences in the diamond industry, her travels to Africa, and her encounters helping customers purchase diamonds at Mervis. Although it hasn't made the New York Times Best Sellers List yet, she remains hopeful that it will reach everyone considering purchasing a diamond!
