Marsh comes from a small island community in SE Alaska. An avid hunter, fisherman, and all things outdoors, he offers a unique perspective to his YA fantasy novels with his real-world experiences and dangers. His time spent on a boat at sea or high up on a mountain dangling off of a cliff offers him the perfect setting for crafting worlds of mischief and magic.
