Geri Schear is an award-winning novelist and short story writer. Her Sherlock Holmes and Lady Beatrice series enjoys an international readership, and has been translated into Italian. A winner of the Irish Writers' Centre Novel Fair in 2012, Geri's short stories have appeared in a variety of literary journals in Ireland and the US as well as in a number of MX anthologies. She has worked in a variety of fields in several countries, including the theatre, healthcare, administration, and education. She has taught writing, art, computing, and healthcare. Born in Dublin, Ireland, she has lived in London, Jerusalem, and the US. At present, she resides in County Meath, not far from the ancient home of the Irish kings, the Hill of Tara. Geri's non-fiction has appeared in Writers Digest, Writers Forum, Literary Traveler, and many others. She is currently working on her fourth novel, a psychological thriller called "Lisa Lies".
