Hollie has been training teens and adults for over twenty years. Her training work began in the field of violence prevention, more specifically dating violence prevention. She trained thousands of teens and young adults on recognizing the warning signs that lead to violent and deadly relationships. She was a presenter at the International Conference for Family Violence, where she assisted other communities looking to develop their own dating violence prevention programs. She is an active parent/teen coach who specializes in working with at-risk teens and young adults as well as their parents. She understands the struggle and nuances of these relationships primarily because she once was an "at-risk teen" who has found a way to reconnection within a family structure that once was failing. Her focus during coaching is to find a place where ownership and forward movement can happen while working on healing destructive patterns of disconnect and trauma that often lead to addiction and violence in the home. Once being an "At-risk" teen allows me to give a unique perspective on parenting teens who are struggling to thrive. I have tools and suggestions to help parents see outside of their lives into the minds of teens. They will learn how their past conditioning is limiting their ability to see things correctly, how their default settings locks them in a patter for disconnect, how their communication styles are pushing their loved ones away and what teens really want in order to thrive.
